Re-use old pst file?

I am reinstalling Windows 7 for a friend. He had a POP account in Outlook 2010. Is there a way to make the new installation of Outlook use the old pst file, so I don't have to import contacts, calendar, emails, etc? I know on old versions years ago I used to just switch out the pst file after Outlook was configured, not sure if that will work with the newer versions. Thanks
 
OK I was able to do it rather easily. When setting up the account, it gave the option to use an existing pst. I selected that, and all the contacts and calendar events are there too.
