When I got my new PC with Windows 7 and outlook 2010 I just moved by .pst file over from the old computer. I now find that it is too small and I'm getting warnings about the size and outlook stops running. I have been deleting items but there's nothing left for me to remove that I don't want. I now need to get this data into the new larger .pst file format. I'm thinking that I would create a new .pst from within outlook 2010, then import data from the old .pst file. Is this the best way to do it?
The outcome I want is to have all my data (e-mail, tasks, contacts, etc.) arranged as they are at present within the existing, old, smaller pst, into the new, larger, 20 GB file format.
