Corrupt & new profile - old contacts?

I've been trying to fix my outlook (message: cannot start MS Outlook, Cannot open the Outlook window...). After searching the internet it appeared I had two choices, repair or create new profile. Repair did not work. I've created a new profile and now can use Outlook. But none of my previous contacts are available.

I can't open the old outlook - is there a way to get the contacts exported to the new profile? Thanks for any advice! JWS
 
With POP3, the contacts are in a pst - so you can open the old pst in the profile (and set it as default) or import the old pst... or just open it, move contacts (and appointments if necessary) to the new pst then close the old one.

File, Open & Export, Open Outlook Data File. It *should* open to the correct location where the old pst is. Last modified date or file size should give you an idea which one is the old one.
