How come default profile changed?

More or less by coincidence I came across a Youtube video about editing Outlook profiles.

Following those steps I noticed that my default profile changed.
I set up Outlook to be using my Outlook Exchange account as default, but now noticed it changed to Gmail/POP.

I changed it back to Outlook again, but wonder why this happened.

Best guess: you changed which account to be the default. :) I don't think it's something you can easily do accidently, but i could be wrong.

When you make the change in the Control panel, Mail applet it will apply to the profile when its open in Outlook.

Indeed, this is something I wouldn't do myself, so I guess this is due to a background process.
Therefore I checked out the Event Log and noticed there has been some kind of "Reconciliation" process (whatever it may mean).
Have no idea whether at all it may have something to do with it though....
