How to "host" the outlook calendar from .pst instead of Exchange Server

Currently running out of space on my exchange server account due to the size of my outlook calendar (some meeting invites have attachments). I'd like to figure out a work around to enable my calendar to work as intended, but not clutter up the exchange server (and stop my account from sending) :(

I was hoping that i could set up a .pst that would save my calendar locally rather then on the server.

Auto-Archive doesn't seem to be allowing these items to archive.

Thoughts? :confused: (... oh, thanks in advance).

If you save the calendar locally, free/busy won't work. You can archive older appointments to a pst file so they aren't cluttering up your calendar or you could save the attachments to your hard drive and replace them with a link. If you need the attachments to be accessible on multiple computers, save to a file share, or dropbox, box, or similar services.
