Hi,
I really tried researching this before posting, but nothing comes up even close.
Essentially, I would like to do a quick copy/paste of a task, so that I could only modify it's title, for example, and keep everything else as-is. This comes handy if you have a task that could span more than one instance, for example painting your deck with decking oil and having to wait a day before applying coats.
I would like to make the first instance of the task (e.g. Paint deck - Day 1), then copy and paste it (effectively creating a duplicate) and then just touching up the "Day 1" and changing it to "Day 2", so I end up having two separate tasks: "Paint Deck - Day 1" and "Paint Deck - Day 2".
I am aware that there is an option to do something similar if first task is assigned to someone, but we're talking plain unassigned tasks.
It may very well be that I am overlooking the blindingly obvious, but the "usual" right-click-copy on a task name in the Task Pane isn't followed up by any form of paste, including no right-click-paste.
Cheers!
