Outlook Rules: Move a Copy

Hi there,

I am using Outlook 2016 hooked up to Exchange 2016.

The rule in question (see below) is designed to move a "copy" of emails meeting particular criteria from the InBox to another folder.
What happens is that the email is actually "moved" from the InBox to the folder instead of being "copied".
Has anyone experienced this or know of a workaround?

The folder is in your mailbox, not a shared mailbox. It definitely should be copying, not moving... i see you don't have stop processing enabled on it- is there another rule that would also apply to the message?

The folder that the email is being moved to is a Public Folder - does this make a difference?
Yes, I have tried with stop processing and with only the one rule active... same result.

Fixed... my apologies... the InBox for some reason had been sorted by 'Category'. The incoming email rule assigns the 'Complaints' category. As soon as that happened they were moved to the bottom of the InBox - effectively disappearing.
