Did you install Evernote? If it's in the ribbon, you either installed Evernote or another program that integrates with Evernote and it installed the addin. You can disable it in File, Options, Addins - click Go at the bottom of the dialog and untick Evernote.
If it's in the bar under the message header when you read Outlook.com mail, it's an app - you can disable it from outlook.com - click the Manage Addins button on the File tab to load the page at outlook.com.

It should be there, somewhere. I saw the button on a client's Outlook a few days after I posted here but didn't check for an addin. Do you have Evernote installed?
I thought I was going crazy, because I couldn't see it, but now I realize it only shows up on my msn.com email folder within Outlook. I have attached the addin section of Office 365 home subscription.
Ah. The client i saw it the other day had had outlook.com account. It's enabled in outlook.com - log in to outlook.com, expand the options menu (gear icon) then Manage Add-ins. Untick it.
