Email in the Deleted Items folder on an Outlook.com mailbox is being auto-deleted after 1 week due to a retention policy (image below in red).
I have a second Outlook.com mailbox which does not auto-delete any email from Deleted Items (image below in green).
Can anyone explain how to fix this? MS Support refers me back and forth between the Office and Outlook.com Support teams, with neither solving the problem.
