Rogue Outlook Rule ?

I have one email address that, on receipt, the message is automatically moved to an incorrect folder from the inbox.

There are no rules set up i outlook and, although I normally use the automate add in to manage incoming and outgoing emails and their folders, I've disabled all the automate rules, checked to see if I can find the address that is triggering the movement, etc.. etc. and can find nothing.

Anybody got any ideas on where I might look to stop this happening.

This is an IMAP account? Log into webmail and check, especially if you don't see it hit the inbox and get moved.

Do you have any regular Outlook rules? Or any that you don't care if they are wiped out? Close Outlook and reopen it using the /cleanrules switch. To do this, press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog. type or paste the following into the Open field and press Enter or click OK to restart Outlook. (There is a space before /)
outlook.exe /cleanrules
 
Thanks Diane for the reply - much appreciated :) It is a pop account.

As I don't use rules in outlook and none were showing I ran the app with the /cleanules switch as you suggested and I can no longer repeat the problem - which, hopefully means the problem is resolved.
