Updating contacts with new information

I have an excel list of new emails for about 100 of my BCM contacts. How do I
import that info and update the already existing contacts? It seems like
importing is only set up for creating new contacts.

And on a related note, I have a list of contacts I want to remove from BCM.
Is it possible to remove them all at once, or do I have to manually do it one
by one?

I am not sure this can be done via the user interface, but it would be
trivial to do in SQL.

I've added it to my list of things of potentially easy solutions I can
develop.
