When I type a date, like 11/20/21 save & close Outlook, the next time I open the task, all the dates are "updated" to today. How do I prevent this?

Thanks in advance.

Which field are you looking at?
If you are adding the date to the body. are you inserting using the Insert Date command?
Thanks for the reply. Good question. I did 1 of two things. Sometimes I use Alt+Shift+D because I noticed that inserts the date. Other times I just type the date, like 11/20/21, & copy the Outlook.pst back & forth between my Outlook 2003 on WinXP & Outlook 2016 on Win10.

If the problem is that I'm inserting a field by using Alt+Shift+D, is there a way to change this just to insert the date, but not as a field?
