Outlook Tasks Help

I have a user that says that they have Tasks in Outlook that are resetting to the previous day. The user will right click on them in the Task Pane in the bottom right of Outlook and select today and they will suddenly move back to yesterday. Sometimes it happens immediately, and sometimes it happens after about 30 seconds or so.

Does anybody know much about tasks and what could be causing this?
 
yes sorry as in the due date is changing. For example, the user right clicks Follow Up Tomorrow and the item pops right back up to the list for Today at the top. They are in cached mode on Exchange. I'm not sure if Syncing with a smartphone but probably. They receive the email on their phone but will that effect the tasks?

it depends on the phone. I'm thinking outlook thinks the task on another computer or device is the master because its newer. Double check the time / time zones - make sure everything is using the same time.
 
The user is using a Blackberry Z10. Do Tasks sync to BB?
I have an iphone with an exchange account and don't see my tasks.
 
The times and time zones are all the same. The user said they don't use tasks on their phone because they don't sync properly. They don't edit the tasks on their phone or anything.
