Outlook tasks formatting

Hi Diane and Happy New Year!
I use tasks a lot to keep my life organized
On some of my machines, outlook adds no additional formatting
On others, outlook adds formatting that I find unhelpful
Please see examples below and tell me where I can find the option to turn off this unhelpful added formatting

Is it the same version of outlook? They don't look the same, but it could be an optical illusion - the one looks a little smaller than the other.

The tasks look like they are plain text - are only tasks affected?

I can tell you it is happening on 2 machines with Home and Business 2019
And not occurring on 2 machine with Home and Business 2019
It is plain text and yes, only tasks are affected

Another wrinkle to the problem
It seems that opening a task in Microsoft To Do: List, Task & Reminder on my Android device is what is causing the reformatting of the text
But only on half of my machines
There must be some setting in Outlook that is allowing this reformatting to occur on two of the 4 PCs

It changes on 2 machines and not on the other 2
