Outlook tasks and PDF

I've never found an answer to this question, and have become increasingly despondent, but does anyone have a suggestion: i get a lot of PDFs sent to me. I open the PDF, look at it, and then might think... oh, this is a task that i need to take care of. I want an easy way to move that PDF into an Outlook task. I don't want to save the PDF, close it, then create a task in Outlook, then find the PDF and add it to the task.

Adobe has a button that can "send" the PDF into an email. How can i "send" the PDF into a task?
 
Open a task in a new window - New Item > Task - then drag the attachment to it. If you work with Outlook full screen, drag it to the Outlook icon on the task bar and hover - open the task window and drop.

If you do this often, I think I have a macro that will automate it... but when I was looking for it, I found this article - use a quick step to create the task and copy the attachment then paste in the task created by the quick step.
