Hello,
I have been strangling lately to make the connection MSP- SharePoint- Outlook and vice versa.
I am not usng the Project Server, I just integrate the different MS products following the guidelines provided by Microsoft (keep it simple).
So, after moving the tasks of different project to Sharepoint, I connected them to Outlook. I can update my tasks in MSP or SharePoint and i have the results on Outlook (% complete, start day, end day, name etc.)
Where the problems start is in Outlook and in the weakness of Outlook to map the different columns that I have in MSP and the SharePoint. So my issues are:
How can map the actual-remaining- total work of MSP and Sharepoint to Outlook.
Also, is it possible somehow to update the actual work done and the total work in my SharePoint site by updating the task in Outlook? Even if I can update these fields through the "details" selection in the task ribbon in Outlook task, this is not synced with Sharepoint.
Thanks,
Stefanos
