I have a specific requirement to lockdown Outlook 2003 for reasons not important.

I need to prevent users from being able to see the permissions settings for their own mailbox - done by right clicking on their mailbox in Outlook > Properties > Permissions tab. I do not want the user to be able to see this tab. However, unless I give the user full rights to their own mailbox in Exchange, they cannot even open Outlook.

Group Policy cannot hide this area or restrict it from view. I have also checked the Command IDs for Outlook and this area of Outlook does not appear to be covered, so I cannot restrict it here either.

An alternative to fixing my problem is: how can I prevent a user from dragging email from a shared mailbox into their own mailbox on Outlook?

Any thoughts?

Thanks
