Outlook wont start

Outlook 2010 64 bit

IMAP
I have just bought a new desktop. I say new but it was a display model in the shop. When I started it up Outlook would not load giving an error message saying: The connection to Microsoft Exchange is not possible.

I dont have a Microsoft exchange account and don't know what to do next!

Can any one help?

Hi Markrugby,




You need to delete the account from your profile and create a new account. Go to Control Panel >> Mail. Open your profile and remove the email account then add the correct account type to the profile.
