Inserting a PPT/PDF into the message body

Hello,

I have created a ppt of a status report. I am trying to find the best way to place this in an email message to be sent out to all recipients. I was originally saving the ppt as a png image and inserting it in the message, but learned that by doing this, my links became inactive. Is there a way to somehow insert the ppt in whatever format is needed so that it is not an attachment, but is viewable with active links right in the message body? I am using Outlook exchange 2007.
