I was using Outlook 2007, with several .pst files open. Outlook crashed, and closed. When I loaded it back up, one of my .pst folders wasn't open. So exited Outlook and looked at the folder containing the .pst files. The folder that was missing appeared as a .tmp file. I've tried to open it from within Outlook but this didn't work. I then tried to rename it as a .pst file and open it. However, this didn't work either. I've tried running it through ScanPST, but after some time processing, it tells me that it isn't a valid .pst file.
So, is there any way to get the e-mails / file open?
