VBScript to add pre defined text

Hi,

I am wondering how to go about creating a macro in Outlook to insert some pre-defined text. At the moment we copy and paste the details, but it (for some reason) effects all the formatting etc..

Is this easy to do?

It is possible, although I'm not sure its going to make things better for you - it's likely to mess up the formatting too. What are you using it for? Some options might be better than there depending on what you are doing.
 
It is for a client of mine. They have to send their bank details to recieve payments, so they would like a quick and simple way of being able to do so.
 
How about creating one correctly formatted message then saving it as a template? Drop the template into a folder named ".Templates" and it will be easy to access (or use button on the ribbon or QAT linked to a macro that opens it.) You can also pin it to outlook's jump list in windows 7/8 - right click on the outlook icon in the taskbar to open it.

Try this: open one of the messages from the Sent folder and use Edit Message (Actions button) to open it for editing. Remove the To address (unless it's always sent to that address) and the signature then File, Save as and choose Template (oft) from the list.
 
Sorry for the delay in responding.

Unfortunately, I do not believe that templates would work, as sometimes they would be sending the details in response to an email, rather than creating a new email each time.
