Clipboard Manager Not showing in Outlook 2010 on Start

I can't get the clipboard manager to show when I start Outlook. I've ticked the Display always option. Even when I copy something in Word the clipboard manager won't show up in Outlook. It shows properly in Word, Excel and Access.

I've tried disabling all add-ins, but that didn't work.

It's Office 2010 Professional 32-bit on Windows vista Home 32-bit.

Any suggestions?

Where did you set it to always show? If you mean shows automatically command, open a new message, open the clipboard then close the message. Do not send it. If you show the clipboard then send the message, it applies only to that message.

That only works until I close Outlook. If I close Outlook and reopen it, th clipboard manager is gone again

It's a setting in the registry - if you use a registry cleaner it can be removed, also if you let windows close outlook, the registry isn't always saved and it won't be persistent.

(It's working here in a quickie test.)

First of all you have to Clear the Show Office Clipboard Automatically check box and Clear the Show Office Clipboard When Ctrl+C Pressed Twice check box.

Now only select the Collect Without Showing Office Clipboard check box

It seems to have started working properly. Now I'm even more puzzled
