Automatically file email messages

Hello There.
I know that outlook has the ability to automatically move email
in the inbox to specific folders.

I also spend far to much time sorting mail in the inbox therefore
i would like to have a folder called "read mail" .
As I open a mail I will decide to keep or delete
Keep will go to the "read Mail" folder and delete to the delete folder.
What i would like to have is that all files in "read mail" are automatically
moved to sprcified folders- the same as outlook does with the inbox
items
I cant find how to make the automatic sorting function work on a different folder
than the inbox folder.I would like to sort the mail in the "read mail " folder
can anyone help??

Or... use your rules as mail arrives and the Unread Search folder to read it. Hit Del key to delete mail as you read it - everything else is filed.

Or... forget using Outlook like it's a file cabinet and stop using rules. Leave everything in the inbox and create a quick step to file mail into a folder named "Completed" - use it and the Del key as you read mail. While you could use a Quick Step for a bunch of different folders, i think it's easier if you limit the number of folders you file to.

There are also some 3rd party file utilities, such as quick file QuickFile - Instantly File, Organize & Find Emails
