Hiding an email account in the folders pane

Is there a way to hide an email account in the folders pane, and then unhide when necessary ?
 
No, not if you want to hide the email address - you'd need a second profile. If you just want to 'hide' folders, you can collapse it - but anyone can expand it.

If the account is pop, you can deliver mail to a different folder in a PST or rename the PST so it's not so obvious.
