Exchange Server 2010. Outlook 2010.
We recently switched from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 20109 and Office 2003/2007 to Office 2010. I had created a custom form for contacts in a shared public contacts folder. The custom form still exists. The public contacts folder is set to use this form (called Good News Contact) when creating a new contact in the folder. And that works fine. My problem is that since the switchover, the existing contacts, when viewed, come up in a generic contact form rather than in the custom form under which they were created months and years ago. However, on a couple of work stations the existing contacts come up as expected with the custom form. But on most work stations the contacts come up in the generic form.
My questions: How can I set all the existing contacts to be associated with the custom form? Must this be done on each work station? I vaguely remember writing a small routine years ago to cycle through all existing contacts in the shared folder, changing their class to "IPM.Contact.Good News Contact." If that is what is required again, does anyone have a code sample or some suggestions. This is an important item for us. Thanks for ANY help!
