Button for Send/Received for a specific account

Is it possible to create a toolbar button (in Outlook 2007) that would execute Send/Receive on one specific mail account only? I have send/receive groups, and the pull-down button for all accounts from the toolbar, but that involves some menu-wading.

I think so - but you need to use VBA. I'll see if I can find some code samples. I know you can do it using Send keys - and of course, shortcuts. Alt+C,3, Enter.

This code works on send/receive groups, not specific accounts - replace 1 in mySyncObjects(1) with the group #

I suppose a workaround is then to also create a send/receive group that only includes one account.

Correct. You'd need to create a send and receive group for each account to use the macro - the keyboard shortcut of alt+c,n can be just as fast, provided you have less than 10 accounts.
