Remove Send/Receive All Folders (IMAP/POP) button from Outlook 365 Ribbon

I've been trying for weeks to convince my Outlook 365 Ribbon on my IMAP account to drop the Send/Receive All Folders (IMAP/POP) button. It takes up unnecessary space on the ribbon, causing other buttons to compress their visibility, especially the Quick Action buttons.
Can anybody explain how I can edit the ribbon so that the button does not return? BTW, I know how to edit ribbons; that's not the question.

It shouldn't come back... but one option is to make a new ribbon with the buttons you want on it.


Try resetting the ribbon and redoing it.

Thanks for the suggestion about creating a new ribbon. Sounds like a good solution, but I have searched here in your website and the web in general and find nothing about how to create a "new" ribbon. All I see is editing existing ribbons. Any guidance on this? Thanks!
