How to remove a folder, option grayed out

Hi, we have two accounts on our Outlook 2019 (having just migrated from Office 2013).

My wife has two Junk mail folders - Junk Email and Junk E-mail. It would appear that Junk E-mail is the default folder since I also have that folder in my account.

This isn't a life and death issue as I'm moved the unwanted folder to the bottom. Is it possible to remove Junk Email from her folder?

Junk Email should be he new default - can you delete either one? Which is outlook putting new mail into?

You want to delete the folder outlook is no longer using - and can use the method here -

Thanks for the prompt reply!

As usual, I posted my initial message without completely examining everything.

I could in fact delete the Junk E-mail folder in my wife's account.

So, now her account has the default Junk Email folder and mine has Junk E-mail. I'm not going to pursue this any further.

Had I spent just a few more seconds examining everything, I wouldn't have posted and wasted your time.

I think you still have junk e-mail because the pst is set as default so outlook couldn't create a new one. If you really want to change it, restarting outlook with the resetfolders switch should do it. :) (I'd just leave it alone.)
