Configure outlook with Domino

Hi

We have a Domino server in our organization and clients are using ibm lotus notes. But few are quite used to Microsoft Outlook now they want to have that account configured on the outlook is that possible? Any guide or article?

How should I deal with the archived emails that are archieved by the lotus clients. Some are local archives some have server based archives.

In Yet another case few users were given email accounts on exchange server . So how to migrate their Domino account and the archieved emails to outlook. Again few have local archives other have server based archives of their emails.

I'll have to look up the archiving steps in the morning, using domino in outlook requires the domino connector - DAMO. It's out of support/retired and only works up to v8. If you have the news server software, you can't use it.

http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/library/damo/ - its old and i haven't looked over it to see how much still applies. I can't find a link for the DAMO download.

On The client side we are using lotus 8, 8.5.2, and 9

I am not sure about the version if the server that is Domino server. So if it's above version 8 then i am out of luck?

Yes, if you are using v9, you are out of luck.

I don't know enough about Notes backwards compatibility to know if the client versions mean you could be using server 9 and some users are still on old clients or you have an older version and some people have newer clients.
