Can't find messages

I recently changed the location of my PST files using the registry edit. However, I just noticed that the Quick Steps I have defined to move messages to specific folders seem to be deleting them instead.

I'm using an Exchange email account in Outlook 2010 on Windows 7.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you edit the quick steps to repoint them to the moved folders? Quick steps and rules include the file path in the underlying data and moving data file will affect it. and yes, it's possible they are being deleted or Outlook created a hidden pst in the old path.
 
I edited the quick steps after I realized some messages were missing. Do you know what the old path would be so I can check if there's a PST file that has the missing messages?

I'm using Outlook 2010 and the PST file was where you said it would be. Thanks again for your help!
