How to Fix “Encounter a large number of conflict items in Exchange OST file”

While working on Microsoft Outlook, I came across this error message “Encounter a large number of conflict items in Exchange OST file”. I don’t have any knowledge regarding the same. Suggest me something.
 
it means messages or other outlook items in the ost are not identical to the copies in the mailbox online. They might be listed in the Sync issues folder (go to the folder list- Ctrl+6 to find the sync issues > conflict folder check).

Right click on the top level folder for the account and choose open folder location. This opens windows explorer. Close outlook, rename the ost file. Restart outlook. It will make a new ost file for you.
 
You need not to worry a lot as this is a general problem which is usually faced by users once their OST file which is a core part of your Outlook profile gets corrupted or damaged. This corruption which could be because of improper handling or malware attack ultimately results in different kinds of errors. It is advised to use Microsoft’s Inbox Repair Tool to remove the corruption and in case it does not help you out, then you can create a new OST file.
