I have a very large pst file around 20 go linked to a gmail imap business pro account

I need oviously to reduce the size so my outlook work faster and better

I have a good knoledge about IT and took the time to read lots of forum

my concern is if I use archive in outlook will it delete the email from gmail

Basically i need to know if and how I can do it without touching to my gmail email online

i have outlook 2010 on window 8 a very fast PC

i do not mind buying a software if it really does the job

I want a secure and safe solution to reduce my pst without impacting gmail and also being able to retrieve email

i ahve watch videos on youtube but nothing about gmail
