How to fix outlook continuing to prompt fo an Exchange password

Hi,

Using Outlook/Microsoft 365 with Exchange 2016 OnPrem.

I wasn't sure if I should post here or in the Exchange forum, but it feels like an Outlook issue more than anything.

I am seeing a specific machine continually request the users' Exchange password. Another machine with the same version of Outlook works without issue. The weird thing is if the user clicks the Cancel button on the "Windows Security", Outlook will suggest to them that it then "Need Password". Clicking on the "Need password" link at the bottom of Outlook immediately allows Outlook to connect with no issue. After a few minutes, Outlook will again throw up the "Windows Security" credential prompt. If the user ignores the prompt (just moving it off to the side of the screen), then Outlook will continue working normally. If the user enters their credentials, Outlook will reask for their credential after a matter of moments.

I have run through pretty much every step outlined in this blog post (How to Fix It When Outlook Keeps Asking for a Password), but as a last resort, thought I would try here.

Any other bright ideas?
