Import Office theme .thmx

Hi!

I created a Theme in Microsoft Word 2013 and saved the configuration file .thmx to the hard drive. Is there any way to import this .thmx file into another PC so the colour scheme would be the same in the two computers?

Any advice is welcome! :-)

Where did you save the theme to? did you try putting it in the same folder on the other computer?

bold parts from Creating Document Themes with the Office Open XML Formats -

For the theme to appear in the custom themes category, save the theme and its respective parts to the set of folders located in:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Document Themes (shortcut - paste this into address bar of windows explorer: %appdata%\microsoft\templates)

For the theme to appear in the built-in themes category, save the files to:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Document Themes 12 - the office 213 version of this path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Document Themes 16 if you use the 32-bit subscription model.
Same path without the (x86) if using 64-bit office.

Huh...Microsoft should make this export/import theme a bit more user friendly, like with a button on the ribbon or so. :-)
