Found a muck-up in the website but didn't know how to contact its owner....

Dear Everyone.

Found this site sorta by accident, because I was trying to work out why my Outlook E_mails weren't going through and a lovely lady here helped me with an answer on another site. So I came here, wanted to join the newsletter - but it won't let me, it just says I've failed the Captcha every time. Plobrem with that is, it doesn't actually give you a captcha to DO, so you can't pass one!

If the blonde boss-lady's wondering why she's not getting any new newsletter recipients, the above MIGHT be a clue why.....!!

The above happens every time.... But you're not GIVEN a captcha to DO so of course you're gonna fail it!!
 
Are you using the link on the upper right or lower left? Either should work - the one on the left should have a hidden captcha, the one on the right is visible.... or the home page wasn't updated to include the captcha. Oops. Sorry. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I fixed it but it may be a few hours before it shows up on the home page - the captcha is showing on inside pages.

Glad you fixed the captcha - and this male wannabe website maker's NOT going to tell you about the time he sent out a mini-spam (about 1000 E_mails) with the URL of his site spelled incorrectly..... Us males are perfect, we never make muckups like that.....

Computer Programming High-level Languages - Cobol, invented by Grace Hopper because she got so tired of the male programmers getting her ideas wrong and she getting the blame for it! She also had an affair with Isaac Asimov, the sci-fi writer (and real-life scientist) and appeared in his Robot stories as the Robopsychologist Susan Calvin. And Cobol is still used today - there was so much of it underlying computing, it never died as a language. I got taught it, along with Fortran.

And last - but not least - The Internet! Officially it's created by Berners-Lee. Actually it's a team of women programmers in California, led by the wonderful Radia Perlman. She and her team of ladies discovered how to connect computers together into the Internet we know today.

There's lots more but I'll stop now. I just hate how men have this Insecurity Thing that means they Must Always Be the Ones That Create Stuff, which means women never get the credit they deserve.
