I'm running Outlook 2003 under Windows 7 Pro x64. Since yesterday, when I attempt to send a message I get "Cannot create the e-mail message because a data file to send and receive messages could not be found." I clicked the Mail icon in Control Panel and found a Personal Folders file at c:\users\myname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst. So why is Outlook ignoring it?
I can see the file in Explorer, but entering "outlook.pst" in the start menu's search window does not find it.
