I share a calendar with my wife. it is her calendar, and it is shared with me.
I have been doing this for about a year.
Originally, I had VBA code that selected her calendar and unselected mine. That worked for about 6 months, but it needed to be periodically fooled with because on every update the system changed the order of the calendars and with it the selection parameters. annoying but doable.
The 6 months ago the show Calander command stopped working. (Actually, it topped in several steps, but no matter.
I can set her calendar to show (without VBA -- this setting usually persists), but I cannot get to un-show mine. I need to do that manually every time I open outlook.
Any ideas. All I want is for my system to recognize her calendar as the one and only open Calander. (or to setup a new calendar -- I do not care, I just want there to be one and only on shared default calendar. As it is, if I forget to un-show my calendar then all my entries go to my calendar, not the shared one.
I do have a short amount of VBA code that update my calendar from hers, but two way synching creates more complications.
I am happy to buy a 3rd party piece to make this work, and I am not tied to VBA code.
