How can i desable opening hyperlink that arrive in the email budy and subject ?

Outlook 2010 32bit

win 7 32 bit

Unfortunately you can't, unless they are in the junk mail folder. I'm not aware of a reg hack or anything to make all folders act like the junk folder (plain text, no clicking). If you convert all messages to plain text, the links will still be clickable. Using hosts to redirect all links to localhost will affect browsing too.

How do i Using hosts to redirect all links to localhost ?
 
open the hosts file in notepad - it's at C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS - and add the domains using 0.0.0.0 as the ip address... however you need to do this for each domain as you can't use wild cards. I've heard that using 0.0.0.0 .com (and repeating it for .org, .net etc) will work, but it did not work for me.




Better might be to set Internet options (control panel) to use 0.0.0.0 as the proxy address. That will block all internet access - using hosts will allow you to block some, but not all access - but you need to know the addresses to block.
