Send email on task creation?

I have seen tons of discussion on how to convert emails to tasks. I am wondering if there is a way to send an email when a task is created. We are using spiceworks and being able to forward my tasks to the helpdesk email address automatically would save a lot of work over time.
 
Should be able to do it using a custom form with vbscript. The script is entered in Design this form > view code window.
Function Item_Save()

'whatever

End function

or

Function Item_Close()

'whatever

End function

Do you want to forward it or assign it to the help desk? Or just send an email?
 
I will give that a shot. If i could assign it to myself also that would be fantastic. Its not a whole lot of work each time but over the long haul, it adds up you know?
