- Outlook version
- Outlook 2013 64 bit
- Email Account
- IMAP
Long story shortened.
System setup Win8 Pro, Office 2013 HomePremium.
New system had all up and working then HDD failed to the point of needed complete replacement from HP. Windows unrecoverable but I did get an image of the disk and also was able to copy off the entire users profile (including the mdf and ldf files. (also had an 'easy Windows Transer file from two days before the HDD crashed)
So after getting system back (with blank/factory) system proceeded to upgrade windows to pro (as it was previously), install Office 365homepremium, install BCM 2010 and then used the Easy transer file to import the profile and settings to the system.
Ran all the windows and office updates.
Was able to open Outlook and the email accounts were there as well as the emails (pst files made it over). But BCM wouldn not start.
Looked in the /appdata/local/...BCM directory and there were NO MSSmallBusiness files.
So I copied over the entire Business Contact Manager directory from the old HDD to the working/new machine, ran the BCM dbase repair tool. Restarted system and then tried to access BCM again.
But when starting BCM it asks for new or existing dbase and EXISTING doesn't show.
I was going to attempt to use the SQL management studio to attach the dbase to the bcmsql instance but the 2008 SQL management tools wont install on win8.
This user spent two months creating a very comprehensive BCM database and there has to be some way to access/save/import that data but I'm out of ideas.
Anyone have any?
Thanks for the help.
