BCM in Outlook reports maximum database size to 4GB despite SQL Server 2008 R2

Hi,

Solved one problem to get a new one:-)

I think the MS info on this matter is somewhat unclear (or maybe I'm just not getting it). Anyway, it says that SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Express should have an increased database size from 4GB to 10GB.

When I look in Outlook BCM menu my newly created and connected database says (using 25 MB of maximum 4000 MB)

Why is that? I was under the impression that by installing SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Express I was going to get bumped up to 10GB.

In some instances on MS.com it says that the non Express version is 10 GB and in some other places it states that SQL Server 2008 R2 Express is 10 GB.

Question, could someone explain

1) Which version gives what size? And

2) Is there a way for me to get 10GB on my current installation which is SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Express (build 10.50.4000.0). Downloaded from here: Download Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 SP2 - Express Edition from Official Microsoft Download Center

Yeah, MS is as clear as mud on this. :) I don't think the DB is automatically set to 10GB.... it's left at 4. It's my understanding that it will grow as needed. I have not tested it. If it doesn't you should be able to log in using the sql manager and change the size.
