[SOLVED] Outlook BCM and Real Estate

I am trying to use Outlook 2007's BCM for real estate. I need fields such as tax ID number (Folio) zoning, owner and property address, year built, sales info..etc. I can add those fields through the user defined options but how can I get them to become mappable fields when do an import? I am doing to import from a CSV file.

Or better yet, is there an ad-in or a pre made form that is conducive with the needs of a Realtor?

I have no idea how much it costs though.

It's been awhile since I last customized BCM but AFAIK, there is no way to import custom fields. I don't know if contact genie might support bcm - it does support Outlook's custom fields. http://www.contactgenie.com/

It seems as though that I don't have BCM, just the contact manager included with Outlook 07. As you stated user defined fields cannot be used as imports.

You mean the standard contact folder? Contact Genie has utilties that can import custom fields into the contacts.

I've tried contact genie but I am getting infostore error messages,errld=457. It's saying that I have a duplicate store id?

It is possible after all. I created some user defined fields and upon importing in the cvs file, I was able to accurately map the user defined fields. It's not possible using regular contact manager but BCM works fine.
