bcm 2010 download does not recognize outlook

Just got a new pc. Having the same problem as below. I have downloaded the 368 mb file. My computer is up to date. Any suggestions?



Got a brand new PC, and as I trying to install BCM, I keep on receiving this error ”business contact manager requires that outlook is installed on the computer". Any insights?
I'm using the 32 bit BCM on a 32 bit Office. If I run the installer when outlook is running, I get the msg that office needs to be closed.

Which BCM are you installing? Are all updates for Office installed?

You need the 368mb file. I'd use the new update (released Nov 2014) but it might do a version check - so make sure all updates are installed.
 
No other office suites installed. Yes, Send by email command works in other applications. Funny, I had not replied to your response because I finally got it working back in Feb. I had to uninstall due to a corrupt file, and now am back at square one again. Unfortunately, I did not write down what worked the last time! Any other suggestions? Thank you.
 
Sorry, I missed some of your questions above. I have Office H&B 2010 disk. I made sure all my updates are current. Downloaded the BCM 2010 file from the link you gave above (release date Nov 2014).
