Hi all,

We are about to deploy BCM through out our organisation.

We have created a few different sub-types of Business Contacts, e.g. Staff, Owners, Board, etc.

My question is, is it possible to restrict EDIT access to different types of Contact Types and even Account Types.

This will enable us to have multiple people with EDIT access but only to the contacts they actually need to edit, and not accentially edit a contact that was not one of theirs.

Yes I have managed to restrict some users to READ only access to the database, that works fine.

Do you know if it is possible to restrict access to Leads and not Contacts
 
i haven't looked at the database, but if they are in a different table and the table can be restricted, then yes. I don't know if you can set permissions per table though.
