I am in the process of migrating Business Contacts and Accounts from Business Contact Manager to standard Contacts in Outlook 2010 (so that I can finally upgrade to Office 2019 - no need for a CRM). I read a post explaining that the migration can be done via simple drag-and-drop. I am able to do this successfully, but noticed approximately 25 user-defined (BCM) fields show up in the migrated Contacts.
I would like to remove the user-defined fields. How might I perform this operation with VBA (unless it can be performed via the user interface)? I should mention I transferred the BCM entries to two standard Contacts subfolders.
Additionally, I would like to transfer data from a user-defined field (BCM's "Initiated By" field) to the standard "Referred By" field before deletion.
Any (coding) hints to perform these tasks would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
