OS this makes sense, I have a large number of contact sub folders in OL for various purposes; product dealers, competitors' dealers, dealer prospects from one source, dealers prospects from another source, etc. So with that in mind...
I first added (copied) a number of contacts from an OL "dealers" subfolder to BCM by starting in the OL contact subfolder > right clicking > create record > copy to bcm > business contact. That worked fine and all the contacts I had selected copied over.
Then did the same thing with another contact subfolder of "prospects" with the only difference being in the final step I clicked on "leads." This copied over these specific contacts from OL to BCM as leads.
Now when go back to the "Dealers" contact subfolder in OL all of the prospect/lead contacts have been added. what happened here? I don't want bcm to auto-populate contacts to subfolders in OL where there weren't originally located.
I'm really rather rconfused as to the contact management in bcm. It seems not to be very well thought out.
any suggestions/thoughts/feedback would be appreciated.
