Message becomes "unread" after moving to a local folder

Ever since I started using IMAP, I've noticed that some of the email messages I move from any IMAP account's Inbox to a local folder, become unread in such local folder (that is, despite they were previously read or marked as read while in IMAP's Inbox). Is this some known issue?
 
That usually only happens with Sent items when you use a rule to move the message.

Theoretically, it might happen if you immediately mark read and move a message, because Outlook might not have time to update the read flag on the server. I have never seen it happen though... not that that means anything. :)
 
Might have been the latter -- me moving it too quickly. However, I haven't encountered it anymore ever since I upgraded to 2013.
