Hi, I've been asked to solve a problem with our company's emails. When an outside person sends in an email to one individual within the company, and copies others, everyone receives that number of copies of the mail. Example if an email is addressed to me and copied to 3 colleagues we all receive 4 lots of this email. How can we stop is and just receive one email. Thanks.

Assuming you aren't using rules, something is goofy on the mail server. Are you using a "catchall" mailbox? The server pulls in 4 copies for the message, one for each person, and because your name is on all 4, all 4 are downloaded. This can happen with catchall mailboxes or similar, where all mail is stored in one mailbox.

You'll need to ask the hosting company or your email administrator if all of the mail is dumped into one folder or if each user has a separate mailbox on the server.
