godaddy says my outlook's sending spam.

hey all. i'm using outlook 365 on windows 7. i noticed today in my godaddy account that an email account of mine had sent 260 emails today. i did not send these emails. i called godaddy and was told that my outlook is probably being used to spam people, even though there is no evidence of such emails being sent when i lookin my sent items. has anyone else dealt with this? is there a specific antivirus you guys recommend here? thanks in advance.
 
Most likely it's your email address that is used to send spam (they forged your address). But you should change the email account password in case your account was compromised and they are using the godaddy server.

Look at the ndrs you got back - do any have the full email header of the orginial message ? If so, it may have the sending IP address and should have the mail server IP address. The sending IP address (or computer name) would be the computer that sent it. The server ip is what SMTP server sent it - if not a godaddy server, someone forged your return address.

If you have one of the headers and can't read it, post it here and I'll look at it.
 
Thanks for your reply. That's the thing. There are no records of these spam emails in my sent items, and I received no bounceback errors either. Moreover, Godaddy says I used 261 out of 250 daily relays yesterday on their outgoing smtp using this email address, but I just remembered that my Outlook sends outgoing mail from that address on a whole other smtp! I told Godaddy all this but they still swear up and down that it's my Outlook sending this stuff out.
