How to 'really' delete IMAP emails?

Hello

I have an IMAP Hotmail account that I use via Outlook 2007. It's working OK except that when I click on an email in my inbox and select delete, it does not seem to actually be deleted.

Sometimes a line appears through the email I want to delete, but I a not sure if it is actually deleted.

Is there a way of selecting emails in my junk and inbox folders that I want to delete for them to actually be deleted, please?

That sounds more like it - alas, at the moment I only have access to 2007.

(Maybe Santa will be kind......).

It works with 2010 and OLDER - you are ok with 2007.... Not that upgrading isn't a good idea, especially if Santa brings a new computer, but the macro will work for you.
